Horror fans will be living in December 2022 and January 2023 as it's announced The Callisto Protocol will release for PS5 and PS4 on 2nd December 2022. That's just one month before the PS5 Dead Space remake arrives in January 2023. The news was shared in a new trailer that gave us our best look at the game yet, featuring tons of new enemies and locations. It's gruesome stuff to say the least.

Looks remarkably like Dead Space and that's certainly not a bad thing
Man...
Calisto Protocol - December
Dead Space Remake - January
Resident Evil 4 Remake - March
I CANT WAIT!!
Ooh this looks great. Can’t wait to play. Will be interesting to see how it compares to dead space.
@Amin1998 I get the impression it won’t be as “technical” but then the tech itself has advanced 15 odd year. Order of release is well weird for these two; practically on top of each other as well
@torne Don’t forget Alan Wake II next year too!
Gonna be a great year for horror games.
@jFug
Hope that one is actually good.
The Calliso protocol.dead space remake and resident evil 4.wow. Horror games masterpiece in the making.word up son
This looked so good. Probably the highlight of the show for me.
Oh yeah, this is a day one type of game for me. I love alien horror and the production values look insane.
@jFug how did I manage to forget that one!!
Looks good , give me anything like dead space and I'm on it , I'll most prob get it on Xbox though
about time we get some horror , and not some first person walking simulator ! dope !
Finally - a release date! I just hope it doesn’t slip. This has been my most anticipated game of ‘22 and I absolutely can’t wait to play it.
This and Resident Evil 4 the show is already great with these two alone.
@munstre Not for me ill probably get a heart attack i found Resident Evil 6 scary enough without VR. 🤪
Awesome trailer and so happy we're getting it this year in December! I loved the original Dead Space trilogy, so definitely looking forward to this.
@playstation1995 @jFug @torne 2023 is gonna be an epic year for horror games, I can't wait to scare myself crapless*! XD
@Subsided It's being made by a bunch of the original designers of Dead Space, as they sought to go back to that feel, so... yeah. That was kind of inevitable.
If the enemies are bullet sponges, I’m going to be upset. It’s disengaging for me when I have to pump 42 rounds into something just because it’s a boss or whatever else. I think rewarding players with a great steady aim and patience would go a long way for these types of horror games. I hate when I land like 3-4 headshots on an enemy in resident evil and they still don’t drop. That’s some RNG crap.
@KidBoruto. Definitely.its gonna be fun for horror games fans.i l💚ve horror games.especially the horror games that allows you to defend your self.word up son
Not for me. Gave me the creeps just watching the footage. I dont do scary anything 😂😂
more excited about callisto protocol than dead space remake
Love the Alien films and Resident Evil, but this looks a tad too generic - the standard issue 'welcome to the madhouse' voiceover doesn't help either.
Also worry it might prove a bit repetitive - trawling around dingy corridors can get too much when stretched out for a game length. Resident Evil games are generally extremely well paced and varied, and the goofy tone stops them feeling too depressing.
Will this game frighten me so much that I poop my pants? I really hate changing my pants in the middle of constantly getting scared then dying in horror games.
@ChromaticDracula I’ll miss the carvery aspect. Picking your favourite cut; and setting to work but it should be decent anyways.
@playstation1995 I like both types of horror, but definitely prefer being able to fight back as well.
